What is CENTI?
CENTI (Spanish acronym for: International Center of Integral Theotherapy) is the product of the work by missionaries of the Student and Professionals Crusade of Colombia, also known as the Colombian Center of Integral Theotherapy, organism founded by Néstor Chamorro Pesantes, PhD., and his wife Betty Dolores Cruz (Lolita), M.S., in the year 1963, whom with the vision and the restoring message of God through Jesus Christ His son, and in compliance of the superior commandment given by our Lord Jesus, 2000 years ago of: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations…” (Mt. 28:18-20), accepted the calling of God of planting Jesus Christ in the heart of every human being.
In all of these years of discipling work, God has blessed the CENTI in a big way, and it is that in 1980 that these Change Agents take the challenge of going to the world, converting each country in a new work area for the missionary work with the healing message of Christ. Now every country in the world where the CENTI is present, has converted in a seedbed of missionaries for other countries of the world, by this way then, fulfilling the vision given by our Lord Jesus.
Our great blessing has been the gift given by God to all men, the privilege to have Jesus Christ in their hearts, who is the integral answer to the human being and all nations (I Corinthians 2:9-12), this is THEOTHERAPY, the treatment of God for the human being. It’s like this that the ministry has expedited and the growth of the family has been supernatural.
At this moment the CENTI family is established in more than 40 countries around the world, having as the worldwide headquarters in the city of Bogotá, Colombia and the International headquarters in the city of Miami, Florida, USA.
THE THREE ESENTIALS OF CENTI
- Vision: to carry the Great Commission to all terms of the earth. Mathew 28:18-20
- Mission: our sole mission in the world, cause and strategy is 2 Timothy 2:2
- Destine: We are eternal children of the Eternal God
CENTI’S DECLARATION OF FAITH
The only base of our faith is the Bible which is infallible Written Word of God in all of its books of the Old and New Testaments.
Reasons for what we consider the Bible, the only source of truth of God revealed to the human being:
- We believe that it was totally inspired by the Holy Spirit and was written without content error in the original manuscripts of the Old and New Testament. (2nd Timothy 3:16)
- We believe that it contains the totally of the truth revealed by God, where it expresses its own will for mankind and the creation. We believe that it is the supreme and final authority in all of the subjects that it talks about.
- We believe that the doctrinal teachings are sufficiently simple, to eliminate any interpretation and dogma
- We believe in the historicity of the Bible, as well as we understand the process of the Christianity trough the light of history and the different manifestations of the faith by the generations.
- Also we accept all of those doctrinal teachings in which historically have had a common agreement between the true Christians. For the reason of the special calling of our Movement, we wish to allow the liberty of conviction about other doctrinal aspects, understanding that any interpretation cannot be converted in a matter that impedes the ministry that God has called us to.
We affirm our beliefs in the basic teachings of the Bible in the following way:
WE BELIEVE THAT
- There is one and true God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, possessing each one of them equality, all the attributes of the Deity and the characteristics of the personality. (Genesis 1:26, Mathew 3:16-17)
- God is Father, unique, eternal and true. Creator of all that exists and the source of all Authority. First person of the Trinity and who has manifested to mankind, shown His unconditional love and Its sobering purpose. (John 3:16-17)
- Jesus Christ is God the Son; second person of the Trinity, made man through the miracle conception by the Holy Spirit and in a virginal birth. So, He is perfectly God and singular man, united in one person. His life was without sin and voluntarily offered as atonement for the sins of humanity, reaching then the salvation for everyone that accepts his redemptive work. Jesus Christ is the provision of God the Father for the human being and the only mediator. (John 1:1, Mathew 1:23). We believe that Jesus after being crucified resurrected from the dead on the third day, with the same body although glorified. He corporally ascended to heaven and sat at the right hand of God the Father where Christ intercedes for all the saints. We believe in His second coming to earth in a personal form, viewable and corporal in the consummation of all times and the perfect plan of God the Father. (Acts. 1:9-11)
- We believe in the Holy Spirit, third person of the Trinity, who possesses all the attributes of the Divinity and the personality of God; its main function is to glorify Christ, preserve his redemptive work and apply it to the believer. The Holy Spirit comes to literally dwell in the life of that one who has accepted Jesus as it Lord and Savior. (John 16:7-8)
Its fullness and control are made part of the believer through faith. Each children of God it’s called to live in the power of the Holy Spirit, carrying fruit in its life and in the other’s, avoiding satisfy the desires of its human and weak nature that opposes to the nature of God. (Galatians 5:22-23)
- We believe that the human being was created by God and it is conformed of three basic dimensions: spirit, soul and body. It is the noblest creature of the creation, who possesses the essential attributes of the personality of God, mind, emotions and will. In its natural condition, it is separated from God and unable to have communion with God because its sinner nature with which is born. (Genesis 1:26, Romans 3:23)
- The human being, decided to live in autonomy from God. Since then, it lives in darkness and is away from the light of God, under judgment, commendation, and eternal death, unless it accepts the saving work: an act of God only in favor of mankind, as an indication of His grace and love. The salvation of the human being is totally the product of God, His grace; at no cost whatsoever for the human being and it is not the total nor partial result of a human act of kindness or ceremonies.
The assurance of salvation its based in an unbreakable and eternal relationship with God the Father, as his children, trough Jesus Christ and in the certainty of what the Word of God says, that absolutely nothing, can separate us from His love. (Ephesians 2:8-9, John 3:3).
- Jesus is the head of the Universal Church, which being only one, it’s conformed by many member, in distinct groups and denominations, whose only fundament is Jesus Christ and it is potentised by the Holy Spirit. It is the will of God to maintain united and communicating through that unity to the world His authority, presence and will. (Ephesians 4:15-16)
- At the moment of the physical death, the believer passes to enjoy the presence of God in an eternal, conscious and uninterrupted way, and awaits the resurrection of its body, for blessing and the everlasting glory. The nonbeliever enters immediately to an eternal and conscious separation from God and awaits the resurrection of its body for judgment and eternal condemnation. (1 Corinthians 15:12-20)
- We believe that while we are in this life, we have the responsibility of establishing the Kingdom of God on earth, His authority and will, with dedication, we invest ourselves integrally and totally in the Grand Commission, in obedience to the command given by our Lord Jesus Christ in Mathew 28:18-20. Carrying a language/message of integral answer for the human being of God, its family and society, through Total Theotherapy (treatment of God for the human being). (Mathew 28:19-20, 2 Timothy 2:2)
